Happy Birthday Aiden!

I feel kind of bad writing this because I didn't do a blog post on Bella or Abby's birthdays.  But in my defense we didn't have internet.  But today is Aiden's birthday and he turned 8!! I can't believe he's already 8 years old!! So this morning I made him come cuddle me while I told him about the day he was born just like my mom always told us on our birthdays.  Then we got up and cooked his breakfast.  He wanted fried eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, and hot chocolate.  On birthdays around here we follow in another of the traditions from my childhood and the birthday child picks all meals for the day.  So for lunch today we are having hot dogs and for dinner pizza!  We also all chip in together and give the birthday child a respite from chores and take the day off from school which is always fun for them!  So today I just wanted to praise the Lord for my Aiden! He is such a blessing in our lives and has the kindest heart!  We love him and today we want to celebrate the blessing that is him!
