Top Ten Lessons Learned Before Turning 30

I have been blessed through the years to have a lot of good godly counsel along the way.  The Bible says that the older women should teach the younger women and so I try to always seek counsel from women who are older than me, have been where I am now in my life, and who's walk reflects what I would desire in my life at their age.  So I decided to write what I believe are the biggest and most important lessons I have learned in my, as of yesterday, thirty years.  Some of these lessons have been trial and error.  Others have come from great ladies who I love and am so very thankful for.

 1. God really is #1
 2. Family really is #2   (hubby first then kids :)!!)
 3. If the first two are in order all else will fall into place.
 4. When in doubt don't!!
 5. Talk less (as a godly lady once said, "very few people care what you have to say anyway")
 6. Love unconditionally (Pro 17:17  A friend loveth at all times.)
 7. Always have a heart that is open to correction. (Pro 12:1  Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but                     he that hateth reproof is brutish.)
 8. When your husband needs to talk listen
 9. When your kids need affection snuggle (housework can wait!!!)
10. It is unfair for imperfection to demand perfection

Anyway, there they are!  No big "ah ha" moments.  Just slow gradual growth reflected on.
